Call me fussy but a dont use Ebay . Are there any wireless alternatives to the adapter?
Slimline ps2 ? if i could get for half price sure i read somewhere 'ASDA' where doing a deal ?
Directhex is right. PS2 online is pretty much pointless imo.
Also I really would reconsider not using eBay. Its an invaluable resource for getting hard to find items like this. They have loads on sale, such as

i just bought a ps2 slimline brand new for £49 from ASDA Not sure if I want it though as I dont think it will get much play seeing as I have a 360, but at that price I thought it would be rude not to I don't know about other stores, but the farnborough one wasnt advertising a price for it. I'll see how much games go for on ebay before opening it and if it dont want it i'll either sell it or get a return it to ASDA unopened. Also afaik, the slimline version has the network adapter built in. Does anyone know any decent games which you can play online are?

What a shame just phoned my local ASDA and they sold out....AAARRGGHH these huge chunky old ps2's...
Amazon were selling the harddrive/network adapter for 30ish punds a while. Id expect somewhere like play to have some as well. As people have said PS2 aint great online for that in a console 360 owns everything at the mo -
Permanently confused
Vega, I could pick you up one (if there are any left) and send it onto you if you like? £49 + whatever P&P would be. Or you could have mine (still unopened) I am having second thoughts as I dont think I will ever play it!
thanks greektony .....would prefer the silver but for 50 then blk is fine
