There is, for me anyway (1680x1050).
Now downloading at 300k/sec and increasing (uni connection starts slow then speeds up for some unknown reason...)
Does anyone else love some of the units?
I.e. Nod's MCV literally pushing everyone out of the way when it's moving... (practically ran through a line of enemy tanks that way!) (I sure that the crossfire also killed a few of their units!
Woohoo now Assistant Manager!
Doesn't seem to load on vista
Pants. America woke up. 40kb/s now
only played it a bit last night and tbh wasnt that impressed.
First of all the zoom is stupid, this is an RTS i want to be able to see more than 1 building at a time thanks.
Secondly and most annoyingly of all is the amount of units and progression of the tech tree. Mammoth tank = win = no time at all to get.
I loved tiberian sun aswell, slow it down, and make everything that bit smaller and it would be great.
Supreme Commander FTW.
Oh hilarity.
The 1.2gb file finally finished. Unzip runs fine, then the MSI installer falls over with a 'setup cannot find specified files'.
edit: fixed by manually extracting. It was popping up some leadtek logo before the error - anyone else get that or have I got some hanging ons from my previous graphics card?

- me, 2005
First impression: Starship Troopers.
Second impression: Slick, and gorgeous graphics. Sorry, but it looks fab to me. The only graphical minus point are the shadows which don't react to all the glowy lights at all, and they also use AA to smooth them out, so they look poor unless you run high AA.
Camera controls are terrible though - it's rotating the wrong way when I hold down the mouse button and it's just meh in general. Come on RTS makers - Dawn of War had great camera control and that's considered 'old hat' by now! Get it sorted!
Wasnt the case for me. Vista business 32 bit, double click install and play Didnt integrate into games explorer which was a little wierd but never mind
Its good to actually be able to abuse the full 10mb uni connection! Should be all done in 20mins or so.
played it a bit... not bad, but I really miss the SupCom zoom! graphics are very C&C like - they are good, but feel a bit cartoony. big + is that I can run it on 1600x1200 max everything and it goes smoothly
Not bad: still prefer SupCom though I think.. will give it a chance though
