My top 5 pc games of modern times are:
1. Counterstrike - Still play it after how many years? The best multiplayer game ever, no question about it
2. Half Life - Probably the closest you can get to a perfect game
3. Quake 3 - Wooo! I remember when this first came out, stock up on the caffeine and prepare for hours of fragging
4. Vice City - One of the most fun games you can play
5. Sof 2 - Great 3D shooter (I don't care what the rest of you say)
I haven't owned a console since a sega saturn and I can't remember too far back to include the classics like doom, duke nukem 3d etc
toughy but (no particular order)
1 Millenium 2.2 (Atari ST)
2 Fantasy World Dizzy (Atari ST)
3 Doom (PC)
4 UT (PC)
5 Half Life (purely because of CS) (PC)
Final Fantasy 7 - Such a good game, brilliant story and gameplay.
Sam And Max - Funny, good puzzles and still playable.
Command and Conquer - Set a genre alight.
Freespace 2 - BIG HOOGE SHIPS!
Ultima Online - Had me gripped for a few months but luckily it was a free shard.
