Battlefield 2142 Resolution Issues

hey guys i installed bf2142 yesterday and during installation i got a couple of windows updates anyway long story short

ea easy info encountered an error at end of installation but game appeared to install fine

anyway my issue is i cant get resolution above 1152x768 or something the 1152 is right


is this because of the easy info do i need to reinstall or is this a seperate issue

Is it that theres no option to select a higher resolution in the options menu?

BF2142 is pretty poor when it comes to it's resolutions, I don't know why they haven't fixed it yet.

But anyway, to get it to play at higher resolutions, right click on the shortcut for it on your desktop and goto properties.

In the text box marked target you should see this text:

"C:\Games\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1"

All you need to do is change it so it looks like this:

"C:\Games\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024"

Where the 1280 and 1024 numbers are, you put in the res you want the game to run at.

ok last question for you as you seem to have an impressive score on bf2142
how do i get dogtags

To get dogtags you need to knife people, when you knife them you automatically "pick up" their dogtags.
