Using a 360 wireless network adapter on PC?

Another xbox 360 GreekTony post here Basically my PC's network port stopped working yesterday for some bizarre reason. One minute it was working the next minute I got the 'a network cable is unplugged message' even though everything was still plugged in. Anyway as my router is wireless and i have the wireless networking dongle for the 360 I was thinking is it possible to use it on a PC?

When I plug it into a usb port on the computer, windows recognises it as a piece of 360 hardware but cant install it properly. Does anyone know a way or a link of getting this to work?

On a side note, the internet is now back on the PC. I leave it overnight and in the morning it stats working again! I hope this doesnt become a regular thing Anyone have an idea what may have caused this? When it stopped working i tried 3 or 4 different cables and still nothing, ran adaware and still nothing. Only the inactivity due to me sleeping helped. Fecking computers....... I spose thats why we all love them really

And now this post is getting way bigger than intended so I will sign off now.....
Well, I can cut it in half!

does the network port perhaps put itself to sleep when there is no activity??

might be worth checking the bios / windows device manager
