I really like it, its a good game to just drive around in, unlike NFS which was too unrealistic for me

lol on this most times when i try to handbrake turn I just skid off the track

I'm in the 'definitely maybe' category. I love driving games but they have to fit in a fairly narrow category between serious and fun.

Hmmm, good question. Ill look in to that.

On a sidenote, Im using my 360 pad on my PC and its working ok

Slide Show Unlimited here Gonna need to do some serious g-card overclocking methinks. Game looks good, but my pc is struggling to cope. May try to reboot and close all other processes too.

gosh.. even on a 6800GS?

If you're getting slideshows on a 6800GS, only ppl with 8800s will be able to run this game..

Well, its not a slide show as such. I think its more to do with loading terrain - it just freezes every few seconds and you find yourself trying to drive through a building. I got a gig of ram which should in theory be enough... I saw on test drive forums people playing it on slightly lower specs - but for some reason it's not working for me. I tried it at 800*600 with low detail but it didn't help a bit.

not sure if im gonna buy this one i absolutely hammered the beta and loved it but now im not sure if theres enough to actually go back for and buy the game lol.

I have found the problem Its my MS Sidewinder FF wheel Apparently its a "known" (if you trawl support forums) issue. Looks like its time to dig up one of those "what wheel" threads and scour ebay. With keyboard it works alright at 1024*768 medium detail. But obviously handling is atrocious.

logitech Driving Force Pro if you dont want to spend an insane amount.

Logitech G25 if you do.
