Suggest a game similar to Theme Hospital

Ok, well I've come across this old classic, and although still fun, was thinking maybe there's some better games about. So what kind of game includes the kind of drag out room building (dungeon keeper comes to mind, also by bullfrog) that is a bit more updated. And the quircky humour is excellent too, imo.

So any games like that will be happily received, the closest I could think of recently was the sims, but that's so boring! So we can make a compilation in this thread of games similar to theme hospital and dungeon keeper

Yea, I've got that already (legally, before anyone goes gosh ) and my brother has a game called evil genius? Problem with many of these is they are slightly dated, I mean they're still great fun to play, but there's a lack of replayability once you've done the SP missions through.

Theme Park/World/Inc. with the first probably being the better of the bunch, but also being a DOS game would probably be trickier to track down (not to mention get running) Theme Park World and Inc are both Win 95+ games and should be in bargain bins in any Game store for about a fiver.

Dungeon Keeper is probably the best in the genre though.

    Try sacrifice or Startopia.

My younger brother still plays dungeon keeper 2. I remember in keeper 1 that i captured the Avatar and converted him. Used him against himself when he returned to kill me. Fun!

Startopia is VERY theme hospital/Dungeon keeper like but played out on a space station instead of a hospital/dungeon

Definitely one of my favourites in the genre..

I thought that only the first Black and White was superb - the second seemed far more like an ordinary game, and took out some of the best bits of the first.

Dungeon Keeper I and II are both excellent games - the latter probably being one of my favourite games which I still occasionally play.

Syndicate wars is classed as abandonware, I believe, so you can probably download it for free from somewhere. It's still available to buy for playstation though due to the 2nd hand games market.
