The Times offers free WoW game trial

Eight-page guide to MMORPG will also be included this weekend.
Saturday’s edition of The Times newspaper will contain a trial version of Blizzard’s World Of Warcraft.

The disc will offer readers a 14-day free tryout of the original WoW, whilst an eight-page guide to Warcraft will also appear in the paper.

The news was announced this morning in a Times ad underneath a two-page Caitlin Moran editorial entitled My Life As A Bearded Dwarf.

In the article, the columnist recounts her experiences of becoming addicted to Warcraft after agreeing to a trial of the game.

Blizzard’s first expansion pack to WoW, Burning Crusade, was released in January. The franchise has over eight million subscribers worldwide.

You'll agree to it once you start it. I mean if you get into it, it's a fairly cheap habit - the game looks nice and runs nice so doesn't make your PC cry tears of blood and require upgrades, and £15 a month is an inexpensive budget for PC gaming if you get hooked on it enough to not bother playing anything else.
