All signing all dancing C&C3 thread

Considering the game will be released in a couple of days I though it would be a good idea to start a C&C3 thread were we can ask questions / share tips.

Hopefully my game will be dispatched tomorrow from Game, I loved the demo and can't wait to start cracking through the levels. There has been no other game in the last 2 years I've wanted to play more that this. Let's just hope it lives up to all the expectation.

I thought it was out already Play are shipping anyway. Much better than the demo, which I hated. Reminds me a lot of the original even has the bloody "hey you have one dude to take on a massive army" kinda missions. Currently where I'm stuck in the NOD campaign.

The acting is classic C&C too.

    BTW, what is Dacing

I can't decide whether to buy it, on the one hand its classic C&C on the other its a bit dated next to Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander.

I played the demo and it seemed a bit naff, just mammoth tank everything.

I am in a quandry...will see what the reviews say.

a nice lady in the little local Woolworths has said that she'll hold on to a copy for me (the price compares to online)
I'm fed up with Game not giving out shop prices before release date and so I won't bother anymore going out of my way to travel there.

For me this game feels so much more slick and clinical than supcomm.

Well I cancelled my pre-order after playing the demo..still undecided about buying it though, I'll wait a few more days and hear peoples real opinions I think.

PC-Gamer did an unusually honest review (in the text at least, final score was not reflective of the review), slating many aspects of it (the fact that its still C&C - ie a tank rushing simulation, the fact that its still on the generals engine, the very annoying "1 mistake and its game over" missions) yet still gave it 82%..will see though when the 'real world' (and ofc hexus!) gets hold of it.

Some of the missions are infuriating. not overly hard just annoying, right now I'm on a GDI mission, where the aim for the first 10minues is to switch turrets on and off constantly so the right ones have power, when the Nod roll up.

yeah seen a few reviews saying thats very unbalanced basically all you need is a load of mammoth tanks and you have practically won, the nod doesnt have anything to really stop them

Upgraded avatar war mechs will take them on. but their really annoying to build, because you have to build them and then more vehicles to rip the upgrades from.
