Wait a minute, i did not say to bring Sony games over, Square is multiplatform from the start, nintendo, then sony, now all systems, if they get to bring us FF11 on 360, why not FF13 ?

Who says they're not going to anyway.... as the petition actually says, you don't care if it's even a year later so I'm wondering if it's all a bit pointless?

Now, if you'd demanded it to be released at the same time as other platforms your petition would have a bit of bite but as it stands you've given Square a great big 'get-out' clause.

Thought some of the square guys are doing something for 360 independent to FF?

I dont think Sony will let go of FF so easily, they have already lost GTA which was one of their biggest selling games (not just lost tho... the 360 version has more stuff and game developers have said it looks better because they cant quite get the shadows right on PS3 Tech)

I can't help but smile at Sony's misfortune hearing that.

I really hope we can get FF13 on 360. Although I'll get over it if we don't...

Thats completely different, the Mario IP is owned by Nintendo, the only reason the proper FF games have been exclusive to Sony since 7 is the big fat wad of cash Sony have been paying Square-Enix.

Although I think Square are having doubts about accepting that cash now, they could get more by releasing on both platforms than keeping to the PS3, and if they develop for the 360, it's a lot easier.

News confirming FF13 is coming to 360 !!!!

In news that is sure to rock the gaming world it has been confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII, the blockbuster RPG highly anticipated by millions of fans of the series, will not be an exclusive game for the PlayStation 3 console.

The Final Fantasy XIII project as of right now consists of two games for the PlayStation 3 as well as a mobile game. Motomu Toriyama of Square Enix has come out and made the confirmation that other consoles will be receiving Final Fantasy XIII on top of the PlayStation 3.

This is pretty big news and could lead to speculation as to which Final Fantasy XIII games are going where. The obvious rumors are going to be that FFXIII is heading to the Xbox 360 as well as the PlayStation 3.

Let the rumors begin. Either way though the fact that Final Fantasy XIII will not be a PS3-exclusive has to make any Sony fan cringe in their gaming chairs.

Why should anyone be cringing? I just see it as a good sales tactic to sell more copies in the foreign markets. After all 360 is almost dead in Japan, and Square-Enix's most important market is Japan. Whats the betting FF13 comes on 3 dvd's on the 360 (or more )

Sorry but forgive me if i'm wrong but for those people old enough to remember early FF, you'll remember there was no playstation or Sony fan boys to cry then as the consoles didn't even exist.

FF was originally a Nintendo product. And i certainly wouldn't guarentee that FF13 is going X360 from that announcement as why make an announcement like that and not say it specifically.

Well it was never a product of nintendo really, since they didn't make it.

If it's coming out for the PS3, it will be more likely to be coming out for the 360 that the Wii, I seriously doubt they're going not try and make the graphics as good as possible for the PS3, and the Wii is nowhere near capable of PS3 graphics. Although if they do it with souped up XII graphics I suppose it will still look pretty good, and still be able to be played on the Wii.

if its going to be cross platform then it will be to the max cababilities that the xbox 360 can deal with especially on 1 dvd, so the ps3 version will be standard compared to what the ps is capable of, the same with the new gta, if its cross platform its easier for the developers to create the game similar on all platforms (graphically-wise), so that will mean the ps wont be using its full capabilities... wait till them games that fill the blu-rays up start coming out ( and not just because they're not compressing everything)

Its been known that FF was going to be a major cross platform game series ages ago, it was a big thing at last years E3. What wasn't mentioned was FF13 going to other platforms, it makes sense to spread the universe over different platforms. Those wanting the full FF experience will buy the games no matter what it comes out on. It also allows Square-Enix to judge the market as to what version sells most
