I'm not sure if there are extras coming out but you can buy just the guitar without the game off ebay.

Just downloaded and played some Frets on Fire with the xplorer controller. It's pretty good, other than I having trouble getting the audio to sync with the video - you end up playing the note on the guitar a little before it actually sounds. which is quite disconcerting. I personally rely more on a sense of rhythm than watching each note closely to play, and so this affects me particularly.

well the game is open source...also been a few updates to it, and also a LOT of songs done aswell lol

would get one off ebay but ~£35 seems a bit steep....i just wonder if I could get a PS2 guitar hero controller and use that with an adapter..............

If you take a look at the Wikipedia page about the game, it says that you can use a PS2 to USB adaptor.

woo! Great news. Time for some co-op!

Edit: Oh no hang one...Can I play my PS2 guitar using an adaptor for the 360 version? Saves me buying another guitar.

Where can I get more songs for Frets on Fire? I looked through their site and just can't find a simple answer.

I did find a few songs but only 30 or so and I don't have the music tracks for those! Surely there's more!
