Another Diablo is over due, hopefully tho they wont do it just for the sake of doing it, they'll go back and see what made the original Diablo so ahead of its time and pull something great out of there hats...
From what I've read they are working their way through the time line so, in theory, tomorrow it should be a big image of starcraft. It would make sense considering the big image has the date the game came out, which corresponds to the time line. Afaik they are gonna announce a starcraft mmo.
Hopefully the next Diablo game will be something in the vein of Severance: Blade Of Darkness.
I was hoping "Dark Messiah: of Might and Magic would fill that empty void for me but it sadly failed as entertaining as it was
From what I have read around the net the past few weeks. Apparently Blizzard are making a anouncement with regards to a new MMOG on the 19th of this month.
World of Starcraft apparently.

Sad I know - but I'd love a Diablo 3 even if it was simply an update of Diablo 2 (I.E. new graphics engine etc.)
Nice bit of mindless hacking - lovely! Titan Quest is very good for that - come on Diablo 3 - be better!
I prefer Diablo 2 to Titan Quest :/

starcraft MMOG.. poo, we don't need that, we just need the long awaited starcraft 2
Still I won't give up hope just yet =)
Warcraft Adventures..ah no, that one was canned already...

okay, now a more serious answer
not to say i don't want another lost vikings or rock 'n' roll racing game, mind you
the announcement is in korea - which is more or less a guarantee that it's a starcraft game.
i don't see the business sense for blizzard to make a straight-up starcraft mmorpg. WoW players devote endless hours to their game, and a "WoW in space" game would need to get a fairly large proportion of its users from the existing WoW players - so whilst they'd massively increase their operational costs by needing servers for a second game, they'd certainly not draw sufficient new users to fill the users canibalised from WoW
so let's assume what will be announced isn't WoW in space.
so what is is? starcraft ghost (single-player third person shooter, then later a battlefield-style team shooter) was canned. what are the options?
firstly, the developer question. blizz have been hiring MMO developers - a telltale sign? well, they've been hiring mobile phone developers too. starcraft for j2me mobiles? seems silly, yet capcom are sending one of their rather expensive franchises for a mobile-only sequel (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3159481)
so. what are the real options?
- starcraft 2
- starcraft ghost (mark 3)
- world of starcraft
- diablo 3
- something completely new
my guess? well it might be starcraft 2, but i'd be a little disappointed. too obvious. no, i'm banking (and kinda hoping) on something from column a and column b - a starcraft take on the mmofps. something not entirely dissimilar to planetside (different enough not to suck, though, of course).
I think that Bliz have been hiring MMO developers doesn't mean much - they could either be for work on WoW, or for a future product - they're quite capable of working on mutliple games
My bet would be on Starcraft 2, though if anything this seems quite a low key build up to the announcment for such a game.
