    Gaming adapter for surround sound

Grabbed myself a cheap surround sound system yesterday, but I've been searching everywhere for a Console gaming Y-adater so I can use it on game's consoles.

If anyone has any idea where I can get one from that would be great. I've tried the usual places, but the cables they have don't match the one I need.

    There are tons at

    www.amazon.co.uk
    www.audiovisualonline.co.uk
    www.tvcables.co.uk
    www.maplin.co.uk
    www.argos.co.uk

Cheapest I think was about 4 quid, but I didn't look at all the options as there were a lot of them.

Still none of those on the site seem to fit the bill.

There's a male to male cable that I already have that comes from the AUX point on the subwoofer. That needs to go into a female connection which then has two other female connections on the other side (Y shaped). Then I can plug the red and white cables from Xbox 360 into that.

The manual tells me the description above is what I should be looking for, but I've been to a few shops and they show me something totally different.

    Cables confuse me.
