    lost planet extreme conditions dx10 demo

    saw this on steam so installed vista home to give the old 8800 a bit of a work out but it just comes up lost planet has stopped working windows is trying find a solution everytime

    i got all latest drivers and such but no luck


    anyone got it to work any tips and more importantly how does it look

    no idea on the april 2007 dx download did 15 updates to vista on install

    and gonna retry installing the demo


    really need a change of luck with vista keep trying it but end up with huge issues and crack out the win xp again but need to switch to vista permanently sometime soon for work purposes

    It worked for me when I installed the 158.43 beta drivers:

    lastrite - no performance increase. I've tried both DX 9 and 10 and there's about 10 average FPS less on DX10 I'd say, sometimes 20-30. DX10 just gives better graphics, so it's bound to give out less FPS.

    got it working needed the april directx update


    whats everyone getting on the performance test for it

    got 47 on the first bit and 40 on the cave @ 1280x1024 8xaa 16xaf and everything else on high
