Doesn't common sense say the same thing?God Says Don't Play Resistance Fall Of Man.
What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...
photo realistic? is this a PR exercise?""For a global manufacturer to re-create one of our great cathedrals with photo-realistic quality and then encourage people to have guns battles in the building is beyond belief and highly irresponsible."

What level is it? Maybe they only just got to it and realised.
lol how lame
Becuase religion never causes people to kill each other...
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.
I don't see why you'd be so hard on them for wanting to defend their beliefs and sacred sites. Even if you do not agree or share their belief system, there's absolutely no reason to be disrespectful.
Personally I think they have a point, setting a FPS game inside real world landmarks is iffy at best, no matter what the backdrop. Not so much because it encourages violent behaviour but because it's insulting the people that actually live there. It's like saying "we picked your locations because this is where we think horrible violence should occur"
to be fair hex, I think there are far more religious nutters out there than movie/tv show mentalists
Using a location such as a church without permission as part of a game where the publisher is responsible does seem to be a bit stupid as it is only going to cause things like this to happen.
Its not like creating content for CS like a map of a school, its the publisher themselves that is at fault.
TiG
I'm not really sure that killing Aliens in a church is that bad really, though as TiG correctly points out....asking the right authorities would have been an uber move.
I tell you what the church will have the 'ump about...
hundred...nah...thousands of kids will wanna go to that church to discuss where their greatest victories were, and prolly act them out.
Now THATS a nightmare!
