    Question Classic gaming

Anyone into classic gaming? I will define classic gaming as playing games released before 2000.
I'm in to Jazz Jackrabbit (all versions and JJ2 included) and that sort of style. I do not play doom, duke nuken, or quake.

I still go for the good old Commodore 64 and Spectrum with emulators. Have the 64 emulator on my desktop ready to go and love it still to this day. Recently played through Midnight Resistance and Last Ninja 2 with the emulator and loved it.

Another game I really enjoy from 98 is Unreal, got it running through the unreal tournament engine. Still looks pretty good to this day. I'm also currently playing through System Shock 2 again with a few mods (can't remember if it is pre 2000 though! ).

I still enjoy playing master system games, especially ones i never finished.

Just need to find space to set it up again.

Also love playing on the Amiga, which my father in law has

2nd vote for the Master System... Still love the odd game of Fantasy Zone 2, Kenseiden and Power Strike. Loved my Amiga in the day but don't usually make the effort to set up UAE

I must admit I'm replaying games I didn't really understand when I was younger - ie I was 11 I think when System Shock 2 came out, so replaying that recently, and its soo much more enjoyable. Similar stories with some of the Need for Speeds and Driver

Infact, I've just rebuilt an old machine to run ME to play em - Athlon 2000+ 1gb RAM 9600 pro and an 80gb Hard Disk

Before 2000 isn't classic gaming really.

But can I just ask, can the 6 people (so far) who voted 'maybe' tell me; what does that even mean?

Hey, ever been to New York? Maybe.

Old games I still play? Populous: The Beginning, Dungeon Keeper 2, Homeworld, Beasts and Bumpkins... can't think of any others.
