Does anyone know of a chair deisgned specifically for gaming that is available in the UK? I've seen the Intensor available on US sites only so far. Any suggestions?

Designed for comfort mainly , some have speakers built-in and force feedback on some. I just want one that's going to be be ocmfortable for long sessions.

Just go down to officeworld/staples and sit in a few of their leather office chairs. They are pretty comfortable imo. Different for everyone tho.

Yeah, I was looking at the Battlechair - I suppose shipping would be a pain but I might look into it if I can't get anything over here.

I own an Ikea Poang armchair. As good as it is for the price, it has tought me a few things. Adjustability is very important, a chair that stays in just one position tires you out if you game for hours. The ikea chair doesnt move at all, it has a slight rocking because of the design but thats all. So i would find that my back and shoulders and legs would get tired and strained.

The other very important thing is swivel/tilt/rocking. Its good to give your legs something to do while you game with your hands. Not so the case with racing games and steering wheels/pedals. But if you are just using a joypad then having the freedom of movement keeps your body happy for longer.

I think for me,a perfect gaming chair is one that has swivel, seat tilt, and be adjustable enough to turn from a desk/office chair to a lounge/laid back chair. And a tall back with a headrest would be welcome too.

    The best gaming chair

I have an awesome gaming chair...i think it is called the BoomChair. I found it online by googling game chair. I know that Best Buy sells them. It has made my gamig experience so much cooler. It is especially awesome when playing games like Gears of War. They are even coming out with wireless BoomChairs.

Firebox sells gaming chairs, they're only really good for consoles though - due to the way they're positioned.
