I played SOF2 online for years, it was head poppingly good. The single player never really got me that interested, wasnt as good as a few other titles out at the time. It will always hold a place in my gamers heart.

its a tough one to play online. If u look at alot of the top CS:S players history and other top games out atm, they all came from a SOF2 background. I played it a bit, and loved it, was a great online game, simple but effective

Never played 2142, is it any diff to bf2?

It's very slightly different but because of that it's completely different IMO. Definitely much more than a reskin of BF2.

I imagine it would, it's quite an old game isn't it?

I loved the single player in SoF2, some great bits in there. Stupidly difficult in some parts & easy in others. Classic game tho.

I wasnt keen on BF2142. I love BF2, but 2142 takes away the realism of the game and thats what spoils it for me.

2142 is defiantly more arcady' with the guns being less accurate but it also has a faster feel to me. '42's a good fast shooter nothing more imo. The vehicle balance is nicely done as well.
