help for xbox live

i posted this in microsoft but i need it urgently so i posted it on here. Does anyone know wether xbox live 12 months bought from america will work in the U.K thanks

I know that I have heard of people buying them from ebay and just being sent the code via email.

Good question Bob. It doesn't work in the UK.

If you've already bought it the only option would be to phone Xbox customer services, tell them the situation and ask nicely to see if they'll give you a UK code in return. Just say you bought it in good faith and didn't know it was US.

Otherwise, don't buy it.

You never know, Many people who got the extra missions for Battlestations Midway got thier money back as it didn't /doesn't work on higher res.
And all the downloadable stuff is down as 'non refundable'
Give it a go, they'll probobly ask for your code and just change it for a uk one, post back how you got on.
