    well it is VERY system intensive so i'd probably say no actually but you may aswell give it a go anyway, just make sure you've got the latest directx installed or you'll get all sorts of .dll errors, heres a link

    runs a bit crap on my rig, had to drop details/etc down to medium...

    also cant seem to get a higher res than 1280x960 (so run at 1280x800 due to 16:10 screen)... may just be a limitation of the demo, maybe they'll fix this in the full game

    I believe you can manually edit the config file

    I got to admit that its quite a taxing game graphically, had to run at 1280x800 and with most things at low and medium, i thought that it actually looked pretty decent - although in a fuzzy way. May need to see if I can run at native TFT res (gotta fine that config file!!!) if it looks clearer.

    Didnt play the game that much, just messed with settings really. Thought that it was fine, but capcom did their usual and you see 'Press B' etc on the menus, which is just plain lazy.

    I'm sure that there will be proper screen resolutions in the final game, and its probably going to be a good blast - i just keep thinking of stardship troopers!

    This may be the game that pushes me to get a DX10 card. Not for this game in particular - but it kind of proves that my system is losing its edge...

    couldn't get it to run on Vista x64, kept getting something along the lines of "couldn't find some dll file reinstalling the app might help", can't really be bothered searching for the dll files either...

    Iain M heres a link that could help: http://www.tweakguides.com/

    Pretty much what Bee said about having the latest DirectX but also Nvidia users should make sure to install the 158.42 Forceware drivers or newer.

    Also suggests turning off Concurrent Rendering if your experiencing hard lock crash/freeze during the game.

    An interesting article over at FiringSquad that compares the performance of the DX9 version against the DX10 build;

    http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/...0_performance/

    DX9 seems to be out performing the DX10 build consistently... So why are we supposed to be upgrading to Vista then
    What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...

    For anyone getting the missing dll in Vista. Go to the Windows update site and get the April 07 Direct X update. This will fix the problem.

    unfortunately the game requires sm 3.0 which your 9800pro doesnt have so the game wont run at all.

    hmm looks like i cant run it in 1680x1050 without running out of video memory, thats a bit of a disappointment...
