hi i recently did a format of my pc and forgot to back up my stalker saved file.

has anyone got to the bit near where you have to get the 2 pass codes to open the door? if so i would very much appreciate it you could pm me and i could maybe get a copy of it off of u, because its such a hassle to play the game again...

Hi, yep i've completed it and got about 30 saves from throughout the game, i will take a look at the saves tonight and try and find one that's closest (just before i hope ) and then will post back on here and then maybe get ya email zip up the save and email it to ya. be about 8pm 2nite.

as u have completed the game, how far am i from the "end" of th game?

Hello i believe you are at the secret lab (dark valley) having just got the two codes from the barkeep and borov (which are needed to open the two lab doors), your about 12 main quest missions from the end but there is still plenty to do and it does get better the further you get.

Hello prits, i got a save game where your just taking the documents back to the barkeep to get the code from him.
I think you gotta go to dark valley next to get the other code of borov unless i went into the dark valley early and killed him, then the pda is automatically updated but having a quick look earlier i think i didnt and you gotta go get the code of him.
Once you've got the code of borov then your be up to your old place in the game. if you wanna PM me your email addy i'll be ready to mail the save to you.
That seems to be the nearest save i got to your current position. Hope this helps.
