I got a receiver for my xbox 360 gamepad, so I can use this on my pc. Great, but my Xbox is on my desk, next to my PC - turn on the gamepad to use it withi my PC causes my Xbox to power up and link up with the gamepad!

Does this mean that every time I wanna use the gamepad with my PC, I have to unplug the Xbox 360 first?

Nope, the console powers up, re. the problem.

Only way I found was to unplug the console so it doesn't auto switch on. However you'd have to do this every time you wanted to use it on your PC, and re-sync them with the 360 after. Much hassle.

I have 3 wireless controllers, so I just use one of them for the PC, the other two for the 360
