Nope!
Is there many people playing MOH: Pacific Assault ???
(realise this is completely off-subject and apologise in advance if it offends)

When the files finish extracting my pc just reboots itself . Anyone else having this problem?
Thought MOH previous to Pacific Assault was great and then it went downhill.
Hopefully this one will be better.......
Only thing I liked about Pacific Assault online was the maps.....seemed a bit more freedom to roam about in them. Better landscapes.
fingers crossed for Airbourne.

Must say, I prefer first person shoot-em-ups without monsters etc.....
Prefer more realistic games with real-life weapons i.e. MOH COD etc. Not BioShock, Doom etc.

just deleted this demo.i thought it was very poor, average graphics, poor game play and controls.arround 6 to 10 shots to kill a enemy, cod 2 is 10 times better than this.it reminds me of the ww2 midway demo,i wont be picking this up.
Well well well. That was a surprise. I had the demo sat on my desktop for sometime and ignored it in lieu of BioShock. This morning BioShock crashed on me (again) so I installed this... and loved every damn second of it. Visually its a Unreal 3 game (you can spot 'em a mile off) but I really liked the use of motion blur and centre of focus effects. The cover system worked really well for me - made perfect sense, look down the iron sight and have free movement of your body to peek round stuff.
Its another WWII shooter of course but I'm buying.
What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...
Just played the demo. (360 version)
A little disapionted i suppose.
The aiming is not as fluid and a little more complicated than COD3 and with the thompson it's niegh on impossible to shoot someone more than 10ft away.
The method of sprinting feels like an after thought and doesn't really work well at all.
I can see what bcham was saying aswell, people take a few more hits before they go down than other games.
And whats the piont of when you land you have to kill so many people to upgrade the accuracy of your gun and the zoom through the iron sights? Really didn't get that, or like it.
It wasn't all bad but genrally dissapionting.
Think i'll opt for Turning piont fall of liberty and COD4 modern combat.
Provided they live up to the previews, can't see a problem with cod4 not being up to scratch though.

.. Not played the 360 demo to be fair but I was interested in your comparison against COD3. I bought COD3 of one of our illustrious forum members (high 5's to Baldock) and considered it instantly bobbins. The sprinting is straight out of GOW, albeit from first person perspective, and with the motion blur I think it looks great. I particularly like taking cover with the bad men all over me looking down the iron sights thrashing around taking shots, reminds me of the good time in Victoria flats, Macclesfield. Very effective.
.. Though COD4 still looks to be the best of the bunch...

I might try the PC demo aswell soon, the pc is better for fps.
On consoles it's more difficult to get right, COD games got it spot on but not MOH.
Just played the pc version now aswell, much much better
The 360 version doesn't work well with the controler and all those issues are lost.
It's no combat simulation but does work well as part of the MOH series.
I still don't like the idea of upgrading the weapons in the game, but i did enjoy the demo and will probobly go for the pc version.
And the best thing is you can actaully hit people with the thompson, and i don't mean round the head
