Demo is single player and the tutorial level
If you've played similar games give the tutorial a miss.
Other wise seems pretty good![]()

The game makes a refreshing change from the typical RTS; none of resource gathering or structure building to contend with which I know puts some people off. I've played the demo's single player element and all I can say is that I'm really looking forwards to playing more in the full version!
Have had a little trouble with the graghics, think the beta driver might need to be installed for it to run well.
Yeah im really looking forward to this, i played the limited month long MP beta and have just played the demo which has SP and MP (different map from beta).
Like whats been said its a fine change with fast paced action, just spawn your units and off you go![]()

Played this is a bit, much preferred it to the beta, the single player especially. Think I'll be dropping some money on this one when it comes out.
I enjoyed the demo. I didnt really like the MP side to be honest in the beta but the single is fun
Im interested to see how it will play on the 3690, i can only really run WiC at medium graphics settiongs (it still looks awesome like that though)

Have found one gripe with the gameplay.
The offencive special ability for the bradley is the TOW missile. When you have a large group attacking you you select all your bradlys and launch missile after missile, which is ok untill your asked to send help to another part of the map. You then effectively leave that on it's own and also i found myself negleting the reinforments to replace my units while i was trying to keep the enemy at bay.
Think they could have a toggle button for the offencive ability so that the bradleys would launch a TOW at the closest armour without having to be told each time.
It's only a little annoyance in a good game but when i got to the end of the demo mission when i was surrounded it rather annoyed me.
I got the demo the other night. I've decided I really don't like multiplayer, but I love single player - even more than Company of Heroes. Its great.
What I would LOVE, is if you can play big single player games like, but you get a chance to control multiple role's units. So you can control AIR and Tanks, and Infantry etc.. either all at the same time, or even one by one. In the demo mission, it was only infantry.
I remember telling people on the Beta forum, that I disliked the multiplayer because its too simplistic compared to all the real RTS's out there, and someone said something about a 1 on 1 kind of game. Which I am wondering... if that means its just 1 person vs 1 person, and each person gets to control multiple roles at the same time? It surely wouldn't be only one role at a time, because you can't control points with air units for example.
But anyway, I would be tempted to buy it, just for the single player aspect... I hope they do a lot of missions, because I really loved those scripted single player missions.
Yeh the single player is ok but the muliplayer is really awful. Basicly the game works like this
A. if you have a decent team and the teams are fair then you can have a good match. But B
B. in most cases players join the winning team all the time and do not care about fair teams so if your on the less experienced side you might as well quit and find another server and hope to find a decent server but its chances of that are like 1-million.
So i dont think this game is gonna last very long, the only thing that keeps this game up is the effects its gameplay is wrong like i had a heavy abrams tank vs UAZ (thats a small soviet hummvee so to say) it took something like 4 shots from the Abrams 120mm Cannon to destory it and this guy made about 10 UAZs and just kept running for the control points, it just dont work its like tanks are uselss against light armoured vehicles like UAZs yet they are good against other heavy tanks, this game needs a totall overall of balancing cause its just shocking.... Like Air units Cobras dont really attack ground units... but in real life cobras are ground attack choopers for the marines armed with a 20mm gattling cannon which will shread infantry, FFAR Rockets which will destory light vehicles & TOW missiles which are deadly against tanks. Yet the only weapons they get in WIC is the 20mm and Stinger.... The apaches are armed with like FFAR Rockets and Hellfires when in fact they are armed with a 30mm Auto-Cannon and Rockets and Hellfires and other types armed with Sidewinder AA... The same goes for all the other classes.. For example Abrams only has like 1 gun the main gun when in fact its armed with its main 120mm Gun a COAX gun which is a 7.62mm GPMG and a 50cal Heavy MG mounted up top for yeh Anti-Aircraft use... Now i know that this is a arcade sorta RTS or whatever it is but most of the time online it just gets annoying when other players just base rape the drop zones with attack helicopters and are powerless to do anything cause theeres no AA support because the support player is putting his points into artillery units and your forced to change class just to destory the enemy helicopters and then back again... And infantry is like whats the point you go up against a tank and even tho in real life tanks have many weapons to attack with the only decent weapon is yup running the infantry over.. Now i know someones gonna say ah but thats why you need to use teamwork but lets face it how many players play as a team unless thier a clan or something, i been playing games for ages and worked on a mod which was supposed to be based on teamwork and its alot harder to pull off and in most cases never works out, players always wanna be one man armies and this is where this game has a serouis flaw because i think the devs are trying to force people to play as a team by making units useless against other units as i said before but the problem is that most of the time there is no teamwork you might be able to request Anti-Air support because your tanks are being destoryed by a few attack helicopters and someone might show up with some AA units but the chances are that your units are already dead and the enemy helicopters are elsewhere. Another thing which was pointed out earlier is that special abilitys require you to tell the units to fire this should not be they should do this automaticly. To me this game could have been a really good impact but somewhere along the line they missed the critical point of game balance and thats whats really gonna make this game suffer i think especially online.
