WOnder if that is including the wii release or just ps2?
Article doesn't mention which format it'll be released on, but I thought both Sony and Nintendo had refused to allow it to be released on their systems?

And MS stated they woldn't release Adults Only titles, which I assume this must be... Can't say I care about playing it, but do object to it getting bannned.
i hope it does not get relesed. Whats wrong with people who want to play a game where the sole perpose is to kill people in the most horific ways?
They are refusing to allow teh game if it has an adult only rating, but the edited version got an M in america so that is allowed and aslong as the netherlands dont rate it Adult only (as far as I know it's for over 16s only) then they won't refuse it..although they may try.
I'm not gagging to play Manhunt 2, I never played the first one.
But I seriously have a problem that our country doesn't allow US the choice to actually play it IF we wanted to. If it gets released over here, I'm going to buy it out of principle, but I'm rather stuborn like that.
What I _really_ can't understand though, is why games get picked on for all of the worlds problems and movies seem to have avoided the spot light in recent years. I mean, if you have a problem with this game, why not bring up some films.... there are _hundreds_ of films with no plot... just death for the sake of death. They are very rarely banned - when they are I object too. I don't see why I should be told I can't watch something because an over-seeing power says I can't. I pay enough taxes to make my own mind up !
Freakin' nanny state.
Actually, you know what this REALLY says about this entire thing... one of 2 things:
1) Our government were un-aware of previous games 'evil 666'ing way' ( Think Quake, Unreal Tournament, Fallout ( hell you could kill kids in that! ) ) Eg. they didn't do their job right because they should have been banned... orrrr.....
2) Our government WAS aware of previous games but they don't have a problem with the CONCEPT of people enjoying fictional games where killing is a part, or the whole point of said game, but DO have a problem with viewing these things in a more realistic way.
Er, why? That makes them worse from a political stand point, IMO.
