    Original Halo PC

Who here still plays on the original Halo on-line for PC?

I think it's brilliant. The best thing is the gameplay. It's quite slow, so it gives you time to mess about, have fun and chat. It's a game you can't take too seriously. Yet at the same time, you can really show off your skills with the sniper rifle.

The mods are also really fun. There is one server where each sniper bullet has the same damage as a tank shell.

Don't bother with the single player missions though. They are just awful.

Anyways, if anyone here does still play it, look out for FlashGordon.

I used to love it and play it all the time but I stopped once I got Halo 3 for the xbox 360, the multiplayer on that game is just too good!

I still play from time to time. Was one of the best games ever - used to play Heavy Weapons in a clan called Carpe Vexillum [CV] - had an awesome community there.

    Re: Original Halo PC

It looked and played awful compared to the xbox though, think the only pc specific feature was a rocket warthog - I seem to remember the flame thrower was like single blocks of sprites like a snes game, shocking.
    Demo was ok multiplayer though.
