I don't know what you've got against movement in ut2k3/4 it's excellent, constantly double tapping, wall jumping keeps every game fast paced and a one on one can last for ages if both players move fast and use map resources well, something that's lacking in most fps's. If your target is jumping around in the air then use a hit scan weapon, the learning curve for good online servers was tough, but once you'd mastered movement ut2003/4 was insanely fun. Was disappointed when I saw the footage of UT3, reverting to a slower pace of fps. Or am I the only one who thinks this ?

What I have against it is, when you have some idiot muppet, jumping up and down all the way down a corridor in DM-Deck 17 it seriously degrades the quality of game play especially if they are doing it close to you. Jumping off walls wasn't what I was getting at; that is a skill to be learned and mastered, but simply jumping/double jumping around a map like a coward to avoid being hit doesn't give a player much respect from where I am standing.

Someone "double jumping around" is probably the easiest type of target on a map, bar those that stand still
When someone double jumps / dodge jumps, the trajectory they travel at is pretty much defined with little room for manoeuvre

I *love* people who jump around in UT like its Quake. You can flatten them in 2/3 shots in most cases (LG, switch, SR).

I agree with you utdmleach. What made UT2004 so different was the added fun of the movement, it really made you think much deeper into the game. The separation between average players and top end ones were almost usually down to how well they moved around a map

Hopefully this means that it is very nearing a release, and mabye even a demo as alot of IRC chats tend to be near/on the demo release date. Anyway even if it isnt a demo, alot of usefull information should be coming out of the chat including dates hopefully!
