BF1942? Haven't played it myself, but I've heard it's good. COD? Wicked game, only played the demo, but played it about 50 times it was so good (even on my crappy system)! Wait for HL2? Looks stunning, though people keep going on about how crappy the game might actually be, who knows yet??

Yeah, great game IMHO! I'm buying it next week (pay day) even though my system isn't probably good enough for a decent display. At 800x600 with 16-bit colours it looks pretty pants for me, but the gameplay is top class.

    Deus Ex 2 is pap.

Unreal 2 will show you what your graphics card can do but the actual game is complete arse.

Prince of Persia is a good game though.

Morrowind can be quite punishing (go into Balmora...15fps) and imho it looks good, also Ut2003 and Unreal2 are damn pritty, Ravenshield is ultra real, one game which i havn't played but it seems VERY drainage on comps is Splinter Cell. Call Of Duty uses the quake3 engine so it isn't the MOST drainage, but damn nice (one of the best games ive played in a long time)

Jedi Academy is really good but I found it really short, didn't take long to clock it at all (About 6 hrs max I would say). Call Of Duty is superb, bought it before Christmas and love it, havn't finished it yet. Prince Of Persia is excellent, havn't had a chance to play it to much though. Knights Of the Old Republic is really good what I have played of it so far and seems like its going to be huge. Hidden and Dangerous 2 is really good, looks great and plays really well but its as tough as the 1st one ! Beyond Good & Evil is a great 3rd person adventure type game but you only get about 16 hrs play out of it. TRON 2.0 has been out a while but its excellent and I have been playing it a good few hours so far and the end doesn't look like its getting any closer !

If you want a game that really tests your system, try running Halo at high res. That's the only game so far that I have to run in low res or it gets choppy in the more intense battle sequences.

And apart from that, despite differing opinions, I actually think the game's quite good.

And I thoroughly enjoyed Unreal 2 as well

Halo certainly is a system hog but i think thats because its a poorly coded port which makes it more drainage than it should be (i personally enjoyed Halo apart from the shameless repeat of lvls...geeze how many bridges do u have 2 cross...i 1 point i thought i'd got turned around...but nay its was a re-used prefab... ) . Go play MGS : Substance on pc, i dare say it is more a bad port than demanding which produces the lowish frame-rate
