    Decent Diablo clone anywhere?

Just wondering if there's a good modern graphic'd Diablo style game anywhere? Just something with the whole dungeon crawling sort of thing combined with the great item system - obviously with Hellgate coming out in the near future, it should be a good alternative, but for the moment?

    Thanks all!

Dungeon Siege 2 maybe? Modernish, same style as Diablo 2. Not quite as fun though.

Sacred or Titan Quest maybe? I remember I enjoyed both. A lot.

    Re: Decent Diablo clone anywhere?

I would suggest titan quest too. Its not the kind of thing I really like, but it is a Diablo clone, and its the most modern one, as far as I know. So it has nice graphics and stuff. I think there is an expansion for it too.

Also, I heard there is going to be a sequal to Sacred sometime, but I don't know when.

Sacred 2 is out somepoint next year from what I have read about the net. Titan Quest is definately the one to get if you are wanting a Diablo clone, also mentioned the Dungeon Siege games are also really good.

Reminds me I have had Dungeon Siege 2 sitting there for over a year now and have only played it for about 2 hours!

    Re: Decent Diablo clone anywhere?

I loved Diablo too and will have to check out some of these other games, but i have played Titan Quest and was totally disapointed with it. Simply wasnt a patch on Diablo and it doesnt have proper multi player support.

    Re: Decent Diablo clone anywhere?

Fate is an almost direct diablo clone. Great fun.

I think it is one of the wildtangent games, but it's quite decent. The graphics are very nice and 3D. Decent effects etc. And loads of armour combinations and interesting game innovations.

I played it quite a bit a while ago.

Is Fate the one where you can be good or evil?

No. I think you are thinking of Fable.

    Re: Decent Diablo clone anywhere?

I've heard Loki is pretty good, although i've not played it myself.

I think Diablo is one of those games that can't be beaten, the history and nostalgia associated with it means that nothing will ever match it, even if there is technically a better game.
