Crysis demo in stasis until Oct 26

The good news: Electronic Arts and Crytek are still releasing a demo of their forthcoming PC shooter Crysis. The bad news: The demo has been delayed to October 26, three weeks before the game goes on sale.

Still, it looks like the delay will allow me more time to explore World in Conflict
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

Re: Crysis demo in stasis until Oct 26

To be honest, whilst I was really looking forward to it, it's rare to get a demo out before a game these days, so no big deal. I've yet to complete Bioshock, and I'm in the middle of moving flat, so I'm not fussed!

October 26th will be a good day - Guitar Hero 3 & this demo (hopefully!)

i had to, lower my res and details to low to get decent fps... maybe it is cpu hungry more than graphics, who knows. but once i lowered it it was kill kill kill for me ;D, you'll love the energy regen thingy.

I heard that there are no Pc's that can run it on highest settings is it true, not even with 4 cards in SLI?

    that is the plan...
    for me anyway.

    heres my todo list:

    wait for phenom/barcelona
look at new am2 mobo reviews and cpu reviews
decide whether intel is still better than amd
wait for new nvidia cards where directx 10 has settled in proper

i think that means ill get aa 8900... but then it'll prolly cost heaps! they're releasing the 9800 in 2008 right? ill have to go look that up.
