    Angry Problems with Steam

Does anyone else suffer endless problems with this program? I've used it for a few weeks now as I think it's easier to use then ASE but I constantly get booted due to file differences on maps and sounds and stuff.

It's really annoying when you find a server with some decent people in (and by that I mean no cheaters or clan members who kill everyone) and then during a map change I get kicked off.

The only way I can seem to resolve this problem is to remove and re-install CS and Steam every other day which is getting really annoying!

Apart from stop using it and using ASE, can anyone help me pls?

if you're certain that files on your system & the target server are the same, but are getting booted anyway, then file a bug report on the steampowered.com forums. they're a horrid mess of 12-year-old angst, but serious bug reports get read & fixed quickly

steam isn't really primetime until april anyway, until then it's still in something of a testing & bugfix phase

Quick question, If you can't use steam cause it's "rubbish", and ASE is
too incompatible & WON is nearly much dead now, and then you throw
in the fact that you are a total CS/TFC gaming nut, like me then
what on earth are you ment to do ???
lol I've had the new comp just siting in my room for ages now,
it would just totaly kill tfc/cs/hl/dod etc etc on fps, which exactly
why i got it, but unfortunatly no gaming heaven can begin because
there is no Good medium through which to play said games..lol

    Just an observation
    Dave.
