1. I imagine it would, perhaps on Medium settings, rather than High - but you should easily be able to get it running smoothly at Medium I think.
2. I beleive it is only avaliable as part of "The Orange Box" - so the cheapest place you can find the orange box is the cheapest place for TF2!
3. I love it, more fun than CSS IMO - it looks better, and it's fun playing as different units and exploring their advantages and disadvantages.
I'd reccomend it for sure.

if you love multiplayer, you'll love this
if you can play css or any source game, you should be fine with this.
I assume you mean team fortress 2?
Will it run smooth on my system?
As long as you keep the res sensible - 1280x1024 no AA - you should be fine
Where is the cheapest place to get it?
Err can you buy it anywhere OTHER than steam?
How fun is it, i like css, cod etc and love mulitplayer
It's fantastic fun, very tongue in cheek (and it actually works). It's fairly fast paced (somewhere between COD and Quake 3) and the battles can become quite frantic. Very satisfying to play and much enjoyment.
already bought before the feedback lol. downlaoding at 500kb/s so not to bad. Looking forward to it
thanks lads

Woops, I assumed the orange box was the only way!

Might go for this one myself too..looks like fun.
im gunna purchase tf2 at some point too.
You can get TF2 and Portal separately from The Orange Box, but only via Steam. $30 for TF2 and $20 for Portal.

i just want tf2, im not bothered about portal
Well, yeah, thought that went without saying! But people were asking whether you can get the others separately, and you can.
I think even if I had HL2 and Ep1 I'd buy The Orange Box and gift them.
But if you really only want TF2 or Portal, not both, you can get them.
My dilemma is how to buy The Orange Box so I've got it at the weekend - first class delivery from Amazon (dispatched today, will it arrive tomorrow?) / buy it from a shop like Game (how much dearer?) / download from Steam (no packaging, no manuals, I really want the full release product)...
