Im still downloading it, only 30mins to go. Getting terrible speeds from filefront - 40kbps Too close to finishing to find a decent connection though.

It'd be nice is the people posting about performance above, actually filled out the My Sytem section...

seeing as you got an uncannily same system as me and a toledo x2 i assume u will get same or more fps than me on my settings

Also when registering as I said above have your email on clipboard to paste it as if you have the UK layout keyboard then your @ key will be the console key. Which if you haven't figured it out, will stop you from typing while its open and therefore prevent you typing @ for your email

or if that dont work, goto your control panel and change to american settings, hopefully this will turn your number 2 key + shift into the @

well if u want ill register an account for you with the info you give, if you really want to play that bad
i tried entering my fileplanet email and any pass but it asked for the pass to my gamespy/fileplanet.
username didnt matter methinks.

crashed my pc twice when im about to start a game and once even decided to restart my pc, wtf..

*this is terrible, i got it to run when i reduced my res to 768, and crap textures and v-sync, what is going on, i even got the new nvidia whql drivers, my pc is hardly rubbish..

As for the email - copy and paste it in from notepad for now

Definitely the right settings and applied, still states 1680x1050 in options and the menu interface is running at the correct res

Mine looked like absolute crap as well, I turned the screen percentage up to 100 and hey presto, it was fine. I'm using a 7800gs, thank god my new PC is arriving tomorrow.

Runs super silky on my laptop If only it worked online from behind my Uni Proxy T_T I have Proxifier so it can connect to the main server to summon the server list, and log on... but I can't join any servers ;_;

Left it overnight to DL and installed it this morning. Just had a quick play - and pretty impressed with the engine. Cranked everything up to max in the settings (Which wasnt as many options as the other UTs) and had a go. As stated before, very smooth to play, just the occasional judder, but thats with masses of explosions on screen - could probably just tweak some details, but basically, it runs fantastically.

I took a load of screens - soory that there are so many - if its a prob then i can take them down and up a zip file or something. I havent completed my profile, but basically I have:

X2 4200 @ Stock
2GB Ram (DDR2 Only)
8800 GTS 640

It runs well and is a good laugh. Only played offline so far. In terms of weapons, the link gun is awesome, but the flak cannon seems that bit 'slower' which is a shame. Rocket launcher still rocks!

Anyway, enjoy the screens - this bodes well for GoW on the PC then, if its based on this engine. Remember, this is just a beta, so there should be some refinements before its all out.
