i've restarted again and all looks ok - would be great if someone else could also test and post to say if they can get on or not so we know if theres a problem Could just be a localised problem..can't see anything wrong with the setup though.

no problem, glad its working again I'll change the server over to either CTF or TDM tomorrow morning (when its empty). If anyone has a preference then just let me know on here or send me a PM..otherwise i'll flip a coin.

I removed the password as it was getting a little empty, and this post does come up as 3rd result on google for ut3 server Can add it back in again if its getting too full or too many randoms

I've just restarted it again so give it a few mins to 'warm up'.

It does seem pretty unreliable to me, there is a beta 1.01 patch out already but I am reluctant to install it at the moment, not quite trusting a beta patch..

The problem seems to be related to changing maps (When i look in the logs), the log file just..stops half way through writing. Very strange.

Yeah, I spotted that the beta patch was out, but then I've also spotted a few posts on various forums which were asking how to take the patch off..

It has been going up and down all week, i've just re-installed it and done a new config, so lets see how it goes. It seems to be a common problem on AMD dual core systems running windows 2003 though..I wish EPIC had tested this dedicated server before releasing it ;/

tbh the client crashes as much as the server does...
