    Homeworld 3

According to a post on Relic News, the trademark for the space based RTS game series Homeworld has now been transfered from Vivendi Games to THQ. The original Homeworld was the first game from developer Relic and won tons of Game of the Year awards when it was first released in 1999. A stand alone expansion, Homeworld Catalysm, was developed by Barking Dog Studios and released in 2000 (Barking Dog was later bought by Rockstar and renamed Rockstar Vancouver). In 2003, Relic came back to release Homeworld 2 for Vivendi but the sequel did not get the same high review scores as the original did. In 2004, THQ bought Relic and the team developed, among other games, the successful Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War and Company of Heroes RTS games. The transfer of the Homeworld trademark from Vivendi to THQ would strongly hint that Relic might be working on a third game in the Homeworld series
    Source.

I hope this is the case and a new Homeworld release is in the works ... the original was amazing
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

    Re: Homeworld 3

Agreed. I also loved Cataclysm but Homeworld 2's auto-balancing was a bit annoying.

I'm sure H3 would be fab, they've learned a lot from their recent games I'm sure.

    Re: Homeworld 3

I thoroughly enjoyed the original and Cataclysm, but didn't really get into the second one quite so much. Will be keeping on eye on this one and see where it goes.

    Re: Homeworld 3

This is great news.. I didnt mind the autobalancing in HW2 that much..

That game was so far ahead of its time when it was launched, I recall I was playing it night and day when it was out.. nearly f*** up my honours because of that game..
    Me want Ultrabook

    Re: Homeworld 3

    Woo this is brilliant news!

Was talking about homeworld on another forum: Here's my opinion

I really enjoyed Cataclysm, I dont think I prefered it over Homeworld but its damn close.

TA, Homeworld and MechCommand 1 are prob my top 3 games out there. Would be tempted to throw things like HL and such in there aswell but none of them have taken as much of my life away from me as those 3.

Homeworld 2 I got a few days before release (I was working at gamestation at the time) and loved it untill I got to that impossible mission which had me ripping my hair out (and was later made easier in the 1st patch)
