just got my elite setup...
wheres my code to get the months free xbox live?
i hope i don't have to sign up and pay for a month first or summit as lol i'm skint!

IIRC you get the month free when you put the xbox online and create a gamertag with it.

Yeah I think Lee's got it right. You just sign up for an Xbox Live Silver account (which is free) and it should automatically offer you one month of Gold membership to try out.

lol - probably with the VGA cable that you can get seperately.

It doesn't have to be used on a TV you know

hmmm well basically i just went ahead and ordered a 12month 39.99gbp payment and did my card details etc...
will this still give me the membership or is it taken out and i've missed the offer?
as for tv im using a old spare 14" with a scart:\ still looks nice but haha can't wait for the hannspree to arrive.
bought the one the guy linked me to.will be using it in 720p most probably depending on how good it looks at 1080i...
