Right i'm in the market for a good headset suitable for gaming.
A headset with a mic would be a bonus as my addiction to TF2 seems to want it!
Anyway i would love to hear your recommendations.
Thanks

I went for PC151s and they're perfect
I have had 2 pairs of medusa 5.1 headsets now currently its the 5.1 pro gamer model the sound quality is excellent aswell as the mic, the quality of the headset is solid and well built.
A friend has the steel series 5.1 and aparenlty the sound quality isn't too great but they are built very well, there is also the razer headset, i can't comment on it but its rather pricey
(medusa headset Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK)
Thanks for the advice guys, yea the Razer seems well dear for just headsets.
Think i might go for the Medusa pair.
Thanks again
I've got a medusa pair too. I had to put it to stereo though because I can't properly balance the different directions, i.e. sounds from the sides are about double sides from the front or rear, which really puts me off!
Except in CSS if you stand sideways onto a wall you can hear people from the other side of the map

Another vote for the medusa headset, been using them for around three years now with no probs.
I got an Icemat Siberia a couple of days ago and so far it's great. At first i was worried the mic would be a bit rusty because it is a clip on ( separate altogether from the headset) but it's not, works fine clipped on to T-shirt or even the wire like i have it now. the bonus being you can take out the headset and use it as a standalone with no microphone attached. Really well made too.
