    Do you use Xfire?

I was having a read though the XFire Privacy Policy and came across this

""This Service is offered and made available only to users 13 years of age or older who reside in the United States of America, its territories and possessions ("U.S.") If you are not yet 13 years old or the required greater age for certain features, or do not reside in the U.S., please discontinue using the Service immediately"

    Never noticed that before.

    Re: Do you use Xfire?

Probably means if you're from anywhere but the US you lose all rights against the creators as it's terms state it's for US residents only. Fairly sneaky.

Although I have no idea why someone'd take them to court, but it could be argued that they still try and provision thier service to other countries so even they're going against thier TOS.

    Re: Do you use Xfire?

I just checked the email account I used to register with xfire and I have an email from them saying they've changed their T&Cs and Privacy Policy.

Yahoo turns everything they touch to cack.

There used to be a brilliant UK based games site years ago. For ages it was the best resource on the net for anything games related. Yahoo took it over and I can't even remember what it was called now.

Then they took over Musicmatch. I preferred it to any of the others because of the ease of creating playlists. I even registered it and still use it today. Yahoo took it over and their version is so full of adverts and attempts to sell you **** that I won't use it.
