Nintendo DS Lite : Power or charging?

I bought my daughter a Nintendo DS:Lite a few weeks back (when they were cheaper) and i know NOTHING about them.

I also got her the add in pack that has the extra stylus/incar charger etc.

Can anyone tell me, is there a charger in with the DS Lite for the mains or is it just battery replacement all the time? (i hope not).

    Thanks

Re: Nintendo DS Lite : Power or charging?

If you wrapped it up for Christmas. I think you will have to unwrap it and charge it up before the day or you may have a disappointed daughter waiting for it to be charged. I know my two will want to run around with it to play wirelessly with their friends as soon as it is unwrapped.
    Just a suggestion.
