Battle Field 1942 1.6 Patch !!

Hello,

Just to let you all know the 1.6 patch for Battle Field 1942 is out

BF1942 1.6 Patch FULL 270Mb

BF1942 1.5 to 1.6 Patch 145Mb

All working fine at my end.

Only problem i have come across with Desert Combat is that the score board dont work. Hopefully DC 0.7 will be out soon to fix that.

i aint read the release notes yet though.

DC doesn't work properly with it though i don't think

they broke the DC scoreboard

The only problem with DC and the 1.6 patch is that the scoreboard does not work. Luckily enough after browsing on the official DC forums I found this thread contains a fix for the scoreboard.

What you need to do is the following:

Download the modified Menu.rfa from here , here or here

Then

1 - Make a backup copy of /DesertCombat/Archives/Menu.Rfa. Copy it somewhere else on your disk, give it a .bak extension or whatever else. Just make a copy.... just in case.
2 - Unzip the file into /DesertCombat/Archives
3 - Play DC

I have tried this and DC does work perfectly online its just the lack of there being so few good servers with the 1.6 patch.

No idea, all i know is the release date
