I might be in trouble here, but I was very disappointed with CoD4, just because it was over so quickly. Kinda like bedding a supermodel, then finding out she 'finished' in 2 minutes... and snored loudly

I assume you haven't played it through on veteran? If you have and still have this complaint, I hope I never see you online!!!!

buggy, dumbed down for console, undersupported, historically inaccurate, shallow, cheating AI, rushed but late at the same time.

so depressing, as id been following the game since the first tech demo a looong time ago. and to see it turn into that arcade shooter in a frock was pathetic.

Possibly slightly controversial but Supreme Commander. I found it slow slow slow. Yawn.

Sorry, I don't agree with you. It is a filler i.e. episode, but the content is better than most full games, Blacksite, SOF3 are prime examples!

Seeing as I'm here:

I'll go with Blacksite. I was expecting Unreal 3 Engine goodness but found poor graphics and very poor gameplay. Dull and uninspiring. Watching the videos from E3 made it look awesome. A bit like the Gozilla movie trailer which was great then watching the movie. poor.

And, of course, Soldier Of Fortune 3. Nooooo, what have they done? SOF2 was great, though it hasn't aged very well. SOF3, though looking nicer, plays worse. It's a learn the level game with baddies that appear behind you and you die. You then know they are there then the cycle continues. Just awful. And this launching at the same time as COD4. LOL.

Some complain about COD4's length. At least every nook and cranny of that game is just pure class and complaining about its length is testiment to its quality. Just play it again on a harder difficulty if it's over too quick. Plus it has fantastic multiplayer...

Indeed, short game but what a game it is. Playing it on veteran is nigh on impossible, one or two shots and your dead; pretty much like in real life.

Most disappointing (PC) games I ever played were either Evolva (but it grew on me), Judge Dredd, Bet on Soldier (I did persevere), Rogue Warrior and Boiling Point.

If you don't buy games when they first come out, you'll find that it's very rare to be hugely disappointed... Ignore the hype!

Yeah, being a Judge Dredd fan all my life I was hoping for great things from the FPS. Turned out to be a bit I was gutted

Soldier of fortune payback and Crysis, as another member pointed out, I found Crysis a bit too linear and the end seemed rushed..

Neverwinter Nights 2 - Bug ridden crap with too many small annoyances with the gameplay and AI.

Quake 4 - Just doesn't compare to Q3

UT3 - Don't really know why specifically but I just don't like it.

Final Fantasy 12 - Combat system was a load of crap. Why did they have to change what was already perfect.
