Like i said, the first time it was smooth ass graphics but now it sucksAny ideas? ive even made sure the refresh rate and all that worked too. I really need help!! Ive got 1gb of ram....x350 series radion, with all the updated crap 5.8 or whatever, and a 20 inch View sonic moniter (fairly new)

    Re: Battlefield 2 HELP!!!!

OK, well firstly i've found that the general hardware requirements for GW and BF2 are actually a little different, but that's not the issue - you've already clarified that it can work on yours. I'm assuming you have an x1350 or an x850, as an x350 wouldn't get good frame rates at all. But the x1350 isn't great, so i'm hoping it's an x850.
BF2 is very sensitive to hardware (particularly anything that is overclocked and otherwise works well on other games) and changes in hardware or drivers since installation. For me, i changed my audio device from a PCI soundcard to an external USB sound device, and it wouldnt load the game (as you describe above) and furthermore refused to then install correctly.

My advice is to uninstall, ensure no overclocking, remove unnecessary peripherals, and re-install. Let us know what happens.

Tried installing or re-installing the latest patch (v1.41 iirc)?
Make sure nothing is blocking the punkbuster services from running.
    GFX drivers up to date?
