    360 Highlights In 2008.

So, what are we all looking forward to in 2008 then for the noisey box?
    Some of my picks:

FarCry 2. Not that bothered by this, but I enjoyed the original on my PC, so I might give it a look.

GTA IV. Haven't played much of the GTA series really, the original was the best in my opinion, but everyone will buy this, and if its good, so will I.

Civilization Revolution. Console Civing? Yes please.

Halo Wars. Command & Conquerness with Halo stuff 'n that? Should be good.

Burnout Paradise. At first the 'all one big world' stuff and no lobbies didn't sit well, but the idea is growing on me. Out in a few days, we'll see.

Ikaruga. Can't wait to get back in to this. Haven't played it since my Cube days. This is the perfect XBLA game.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. Turbo should have been great on CBLA, but the pad didnt work well for the game, the online lagged and the single player difficulty settings were out. Lets hope they get it right this time. Could be so good.

Millions I missed out, Soul Caliber 4, Alan Wake, Ressy Evil 5, but I'm either not too fussed about waiting and seeing on these, or they are too far away from release for me to care yet.

What will you be spending your hard earned on in 2008?

For me at the min it is going to be Alan Wake and Viking Battle for Asguard on the 360. Also the possibility of Silent Hill 5, provided they go back to the games roots instead of them being just plain weird in the 3rd and 4th installment.

    Re: 360 Highlights In 2008.

Burnout Paradise looks like being my first 360 purchase for 2008. GTA IV will likely be added to my collection at some point and it looks like it'll milk my points too. Maybe Ninja Gaiden II.

Apart from that, I'm mostly looking forward to seeing what XBLA titles come out. Still waiting for Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

    Re: 360 Highlights In 2008.

I've been really looking forward to Alan Wake since they first announced it. I know there's hardly any info about it but it just seems so good. Looks like it really will be out this year as well . I've been waiting for years!

    Re: 360 Highlights In 2008.

Rez HD, Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil 5 are what're on my radar for 2008 at the moment, Left 4 Dead especially intrigues me, hopefully Valve being involved will ensure that it's all it can be.

    Re: 360 Highlights In 2008.

I'm hoping for a straght simple way to stream my media from my NAS box instead of having to use sometihng like TVersity or bloody Media Extender...

Other than that only really played TDU so far, got COD4 but really cant get my head (or fingers) round playing on a pad instead of keyboard/mouse combo...

Nothing really jumps out to me for early in the year. Looking forward to Fable 2 though. If we see it in 2008. Same with Fallout 3 tbh.

I was gonna say that nothing really stands out for me in 2008. That was, until Veles chimed in. It has to be Rock Band!

Cheers for that. I very much hope it's true. Though if it's not, I guess I can just switch the Dreamcast on to tide me over.
