Me neither, waste of 5 minutes of my life. How exactly is this streched into a full game?
it's fun. in the arcade 'race to the high score' sense. how big can you get your katamari? what effect does altering strategy or route make?
the length of the game comes from the differing settings (towns, bedrooms, zoos, planets, etc) or different goals (collect sweets! collect cash! collect fireflies! collect flammable items!)
and it's stretched into not one, but FOUR games - katamari damacy (not in europe), we ♥ katamari, me and my katamari, and beautiful katamari
the critical success of the first two games suggests you're missing something. reviews of the latter two aren't as good - mostly because people feel the formula simply hasn't been touched and the concept is wearing thin. that's not to say it's not a great concept, and an awful lot of fun, but maybe not 4 games' worth. the reviewers generally feel owning one game is enough
