Starcraft Brood War Battle.net Settings

Has anyone successfully played Starcraft on the Battle.net servers?

I am having major problems opening port 6112 with my speedtouch router and vista setup.

I have opened ports, used DMZ, disabled firewall on both router and vista and still the port is stealthed or closed.

anyone have any success?

I have Vista and today was the first time I could not get onto battle net (says port 6112 not open?) - tried time after time same error

Anyway a couple days ago I tried to make my computer more secure because it was running slow and I had visions of other net neighbors grabbing all my videos or huge files or something. Still not sure why it was so slow. I kept checking my pc time clock to see if it was just me or what.

Is there an easy way to open port 6112 or do I have to go try to make my comp as unsecure as possible till it finally works? Thanks if anyone knows the answer

Forwarding port 6112 should work perfectly. Make sure it's actually forwarded to the correct IP address and on TCP and UDP, or set up port triggering on 6112.
