    Re: Play.com Live

    the event was quite good
There were many games that weren't on show that should have been.
    Ninja Gaiden 2? nothing
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed? Just a poster
Lego Indy? A large lego Indy. Nice, but I wanted to try the game
    Lego Batman? Just a trailer

Got to play The Bourne Consipracy, Soul Caliber IV, R6 Vegas 2, Sega Superstar Tennis, Race Driver: GRID.

Got to sit in with the developers of Far Cry 2 and watch a presentation (gibber )

I nearly won a car, but some Japanese kid beat me at Soul caliber IV in the quarter finals - lol. Like I had a chance And I reckon I've won a game in another compo - just waiting for my email.

Long day. But it was good over all. I think next years event will be much better seeing as this was their first attempt. Massive learning curve.

The chinese and beer back in China Town was soooooo needed.

    Re: Play.com Live

Unfortunately I didn't manage to see the giant X. They mentioned the compi there but then you walk round and see/play more games and totally forget about it. Plus the Play.com babes were all over hte place looking hot!

And Gemma Atkinson was also looking hot. Though the pictures you see in Nuts, or whatever, make her look even hotter (though she's usually semi naked in the pictures).

    Re: Play.com Live

Was a quite a big event?

Remember GameStars live a few years back in London?

I wondered this this event might be a regular thing. Sounds like it could be a good place for gamers to hook up.
