Lets see what the overall top reviewed games of 2007 were, all stats supplied by GameStats, results published by IGN, this post written by me.
It begins...
In at #10 its the slick, pretty, but so-so boring Mass Effect, on the 360, with an average of 9.2.
In at #9, proving that its not all about the 7th generation powerhouses, its God of War II on the PS2, also with 9.2
At #8 the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, PS3 version, again at 9.2
At #7, the hype monkeys first choice, but still a great game underneath - Halo3 on the 360 with an average of 9.4.
At #6 its Guitar Hero II on the 360... how erm... exciting. 9.4
At #5 its the slightly different Rock Band, on PS3 and 360, with the not-so-different score of 9.4.
At #4, the number 1 selling, all conquering Call of Duty 4, on PC, PS3 and 360, with 9.5.
#3 goes to BioShock, on PC and 360, the lack of any sort of multiplayer not harming its review scores - it gets 9.5.
The runner up at #2, despite only being the 44th best selling game of 2007, is the insanely good value for money package the Orange Box on PC, PS3 and 360 at 9.6.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand at #1, still the game to beat, after all these years, and delivering a slap in the face to all the 'a game is no good if der aint no guns in it ya get me' types, its Super Mario Galaxy, the only Wii game that got a sniff of the top 10, with 9.7.
Restores your faith in humanity, doesn't it?![]()

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?
