Once again the "game with ur card deal" dillema

Yes once again, as happened with my Raven Shield game that came with my hercules 9800 I found a bundle ti4200 with bf1942, the ti4200 was for another pc and the game was for me to play online, but once again I have to write to them and they will "process" my register code and send me back by slugmail a cd key written. This can take up to two weeks, so i have bf1942 without the bloody cd key to install it nevermind play it online, disgrace. Best thing is there is nothing u can do about it, probably cant be bothered to play it in 2 weeks :-(

that really sucks! i dont see why they cant just print the code on the CD Case itself like my copy RTCW had on it wen it came with my 9600pro.

maybe they found out that too many people at the plant were robbing the CD Keys and selling them off for profit or even the store/online store that sells them. so at least you know it should be 100% valid and there is only one place to lay blame on if it turns out to be in use!

Its darned annoying when companys do that. I don't see why they find they have to. What will it be next, buy a game from a store in town and then having to send off for a CD key once you get it home. Same kinda difference.

They should have a special installer with the game that recognises the card you have and if you are installing it with the specified card you got it with automatically generates a key for it (eg : you can't run any of the N-Vidia demos on an ATI card as it recognises the chipset etc)
