Re: Call of duty 4 help

Yeah the patch should make it work properly when you install it. If you have trouble re-installing it, you might have to delete all trace of it off your computer and then remove all trace of it from your registry. Just be careful doing this because one slip in the registry and it can cause nasty problems.

Re: Call of duty 4 help

Try using ccleaner (CCleaner - Home) to, hopefully, clear out any bits of cod left behind, then re-boot.

Try installing again, but only after giving the cd a good rub with a cloth to make sure it's clean and dust free. Also, when installing, change the directory it installs to slightly ie. instead of the default directory change it to c:\call o duty four (or whatever you prefer.)

Re: Call of duty 4 help

I need help too please ... if you have finished Cod4 that means.

Have gone through the campaign mode where you shot out of the helicopter, save a female pilot from a crashed helicopter, and later shot down from a plane (black&white) and then where you take out a little village ... and now, I fail again and again there where the dogs bite you to death. They always bite me. And the area around is radioactive conterminated.

Would you know any tricks how to survive this part please ??

    Thank you
