    PC steering wheels

I'm one the hunt for a cheapish good steering wheel, ideally I want it to have force feedback and digital wheel, and budget top end is £30 but ideally around £20, which i know isnt much,

I've beening looking at the Trust 3400 which is £20. Is it any good? or te logitech formula force?

    does anyone have any recommendations?

(the game i play are the likes of TDU and Toca 3)

Lightbulb Re: Default PC steering wheels

Of the two you've mentioned, I'd recommend the Logitech Formula Force EX.
Their wheels are highly regarded as being among the best available... including the renowned original MOMO, and the new G25.

This Logic 3 looks quite decent, and is only £25 from Amazon:

Just don't expect too much (i.e. quality/feedback etc) from a steering wheel in that sorta price range

    Re: Default PC steering wheels

I've got the trust 3400 and it makes TDU a lot more fun. However, I don't really get the feeling that it's going to last that long. Not sure I'd expect any £20 - £30 wheel to last forever though.

Not sure where you'd get the Logitech Formula Force for less than £40something. If you've got the extra money I'd go for that, especially if you plan on using it for a long time. If you think you'll get bored and don't play racing games very often, the Trust isn't bad.

    Re: Default PC steering wheels

I have the Formula Force EX (like the above from eBuyer) and it has served me well. I'd say go for it (but then I've not tried any of the other contemporary wheels - only an ancient Microsoft wheel when I worked in PC Shed many many years ago...)

I only did a quick price check, and IIRC you'll have to add delivery to that if you're spending less than £50 in total. Still a good price for it, as others have said.

    Re: Default PC steering wheels

Reckon you made the right choice... If anyone else is thinking about the Trust 3400, I would indeed wonder about the build quality and how long it's going to last if you do play any more than very occasionally (which this review pretty much says: Trust GM-3400 review - IT Reviews )
